BIOGRAPHY

A Summary of 23 Years

I was born in Alicante, Spain, to a German mother and English/Spanish father and so grew up as a native speaker of all three languages.
I hit my first golf ball at the age of four as you can see on the picture here. As so many others, I followed in my parents´ footsteps and I found competing (and beating them) fun.
There were two things I was always quite good at: art and sport. So I attended High School in Spain, finished the British Curriculum and went to College at the University of Miami, Florida, USA on a full scholarship where I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with 120 credits in 2015 when I was 20 years old. During the four years in Miami I played golf on the college team.
September 2015 I turned Pro and obtained my full card in the Ladies European Tour and the Chinese LPGA. I am a member of the Asian Tour and will play on the Australian and Taiwan Tours this year.

My Coaches

I have been very fortunate to have my swing coach since I started playing golf: Jose Manuel Carriles is among the best in the world. He grew up with Severiano Ballesteros and he is himself a great player, now on the European Senior Tour.  His knowledge and understanding of the golf swing together with his passion for the game, make him special.
At the University of Miami under Head Coach Patti Rizzo and John Koskinen, I played on the team for four years never missing a tournament except 2 due to injury. I always got on great with Head Coach Patti Rizzo as our golf games have much in common and now that I am playing in Asia, I often recall that Patti herself played sucessfully on the Japanese Tour for many years.

Aimpoint new and revolutionary?! Psst! I was doing it 21 years ago!! Here is me reading a green when I was 2 years old!!

Fitness & Health

My first fitness coach was Roberto Llorente. He is a 7th Dan Tae kwon Do Master and a world champion full contact boxer, crowned in Bangkok. I had done TKD as a small girl and we trained quite hard to shape up before going to College in Miami.
Nowadays it is Alex Lewis that puts me through my paces and sometimes makes me wish I had taken up chess instead.
And if you think a golfer has it easy in the way of fitness, just take a look here:
Recently health and fitness have become core interests for me and I started working with Laurence Lestang, who is a biologist and nutritionist and herself an accomplished athlete competing in Ironman triathlons! We are changing my approach to nutrition as being away from home for so long makes it difficult to follow a healthy diet and I have now enrolled in a nutrition course to acquire a fuller understanding

MY HOBBIES

When I was younger I tried various sports intensively: tennis, Tae Kwon Do and wind surfing, but golf just took over.
Recentlly health and fitness have become core interests for me and I have started working with Laurence Lestang on nutrition.
Laurence is a biologist and nutritionist and herself an accomplished athlete competing in Ironman triathlons! We are changing my approach to nutrition as being away from home for so long makes it difficult to follow a healthy diet.
Besides sport, my other great love is art. I have painted since a very early age and I was
fortunate to be able to study what I really liked at University. Since then I have discovered and dabble with other artistic forms such as photography.
I feel very fortunate to be able to pursue both activities and will continue to do so as long as possible.
Painting has a therapeutic effect on me as it helps me chill out and abstract myself from the stress of competition golf.
