JABRA LADIES OPEN
Evian Resort Golf Club - Evian Les Bains - France
1st - 3rd of June 2017
June 3rd. Last day. Finished T 35th.
I was too far back to reach one of the top two qualifying spots. Still, it was good to test the changes I´m making in actual competition.
Flying to London tonight for the US Qualifier at Buckinghamshire on Tuesday.
June 2 nd. -2 for the day, +3 total and cut made!
It wasn't´t looking so good after the first five holes at +8, but I managed to get it back to +3 with 5 birdies. Moved over 50 spots and made the cut.
I´m feeling more at home with the swing changes.
Tee off early tomorrow at 07:33.
June 1 st. +5! Good golf, but a poor score!
My swing is solid and I got around the first 9 at -1, but it went wrong on the back 9, including an unlucky triple bogey.
So I have a bit of work to do tomorrow!
Tee off is at 11:54.
June 1 st. Tee off at 8:15
Off to a good start already: I am using my new bag from Ryoma for the first time, it´s looking good!
May 31 st.
Practice day here at Evian on Lake Geneva.
It´s going to be just range all day, I have work to do engraining the swing changes I made last week with coach Morales.
Check out the sunset yesterday as we were having dinner:
May 31 st.
Check out par 3 Hole #2! Why is it a difficult hole? Well, it drops right down to the green and it´s hard to concentrate on figuring out the strength and direction of the wind... while looking at the view of the lake at the same time!
May 30 th.
A busy 3 weeks ahead!: Saturday I finish here at Evian and fly to England to play the US Women´s Open Sectional Qualifier at Buckinghamshire on Monday.
That´s 36 holes in one day and then race to the airport to catch a plane to Hong Kong, where I´ll play the Hong Kong Open from June 9th - 11th.
Afterwards I´ll fly to China to play the Wuhan Challenge, before returning home to Andorra.
May 29 th.
This is a very beautiful course with great views over Lake Geneva and the Alps. It is a mature course built originally in 1934 and renovated three years ago. The main difficulty are the undulated greens, so you really need to know where to place the ball.
