NEWS 2017

October 25th. At the Olympiastützpunkt Rhein-Neckar

You are probably thinking that after such a stressful week in Venice I am chilling out.

Wrong. This has been my day:

After arriving from Miami late last night I was up at 6 am and by 8  I was at the German National Olympic Sports Centre.

Four hours of running, weight lifting, lactose tests, power tests, electrocardiograms, heart rhythm checks, orthopaedic tests, you name it.

(Check out my Instagram below to watch a bit of it.)

From there drove about 100 kms to Frankfurt airport and flew to Valencia, Spain.

Just another day on the job...  :)

October 24th. On the way to Heidelberg, Germany.

Landed in Madrid this morning as a layover and then onto to Frankfurt this afternoon.

It´s going to be nice to spend a couple of days enjoying German food although I'm not here for fun: I´ll be spending all day at the German National Sports Center undergoing all sorts of physical tests to certify that I am as healthy as I feel!

Back home to Andorra tomorrow night and then off to Abu Dhabi on Saturday. From then on it´s practically all back to backs till Christmas.

October 4th.  Testing my new Ryoma driver!

I just got my new driver a couple of days ago.

It´s a Maxima G 9.5º. I have been playing a 10.5º which was giving me a ball flight that was a bit too high, so now I am debating whether to use it or not tomorrow.

The Ryoma G driver is technically a master piece and it is easily the club I have most confidence in, but it is also absolutely absolutely beautiful. Just look at it !! :

September 30th. My past is catching up on me!

Ten years ago I was 13 years old and I attended a Nike Junior Golf Camp in Carmel California. I recall that camp as something special as we got to play Pebble Beach, Spyglass and what is to this day my favourite course, Spanish Bay.

Now one of the coaches there, Michael Landolina alias "Lando" has suddenly turned up and visited me in Moraira, Spain after 10 years!! So cool!!

We spent a couple of days hiking up mountains and training and playing together at La Sella.

July 17th. Gals rule: 62 (-10) Won in Villaitana with my lowest round ever!

A good day today.

I played the one day Pro tournament of the Valencian Community.

Had a great round: two eagles and seven birdies. I was -11 but dropped a shot on the 17th.

Let´s hope I stay in form for the next weeks in Scotland.

May 29 th.

Had a fantastic week training in Mallorca with the German National Team.

I arrived in Evian today and got to check out the course. Practice round tomorrow and maybe Wednesday.

This tournament serves as a qualifier for the Evian Championship in September, so let´s do well!

May 11 th. 6:30 Dawn at Daytona Beach

Staying here for a day or two to chill out before going back to Miami for a couple of days and then back home to Andorra. Check out the view while having breakfast!

May 10 th. Last Day at North Shore GC Orlando. Finished -5 and T4 th.

Played a NWGA 3 day tournament in Orlando. There were some really good scores with several LPGA players taking part.

It was great to meet up with Shannon that was my team mate on the team at UM!

I hit all 18 greens today, but only made two birdies.

May 5 th. Landed in Miami!

Missed this place so much!! Looking forward to meeting old friends and spending a few days here.

Thursday Jan 19th

Spent the evening with a group of LET Rookies at my home course La Sella. They are visiting taking part in the LET Rookie Orientation Week. The first time in over 30 years that we get snow here and it has to be this week!!

Nominated to the German National Team!!!!

It is a huge honour to have been invited to form part of the GTG Golf Team Germany and join some great German players from the LPGA and LET Tours.  The coaches and other staff are fantastic and what the German Golf Association does for its members is absolutely awesome. The GTG has set its sights on the 2020 Olympics in Japan and I will do everything in my power to be part of the olympic team and do it proud.

What was I doing January 1st at 8 a.m.?

Just to prove that being a golf pro is not all a bed of roses, while everyone else was still out partying, I was at Miami airport on the way to Houston for a week of training at temperatures of -6º!!

Starting 2017 ranked 410th in the world.

Up from 935th February 2016, that is an improvement of 528 spots.

Let´s see what happens this year!

Kicking off the season Down Under:

I am still working on my 2017 schedule, but these are now definite for the start:

Feb 2nd:    RACV Gold Coast Challenge in Queensland

Feb 9th:     Oates Victorian Open in Victoria

Feb 14th:    ISPS Handa Australian Open Qualifier

A year ago I played my first big tournament as a pro at the Oates Victorian Open where I finished T29th. It was my first visit to Australia and I loved it!

A Happy New Year to everyone!!!!

Welcomed 2017 in Miami Beach with Devon-Ashley after spending a week with my family on a ship doing absolutely nothing!! It was a much needed break after a very busy year, but now I am raring to get back to work, champing on the bit: I am not used to inactivity for so long!

2016 Summary

My first year on Tour is now over and the second is beginning. When I look back I am astonished at how many events I actually got to play and all the travelling I did:

I played 16 full events on the European and Chinese Tours, plus 5 on other Tours.

I made 15 cuts and I am ranked 63rd on the LET OFM and 11th on the CLPGA OFM and thus successfully kept both cards.

I have acquired experience that I hope will be valuable to me in the coming years.

I travelled back and forth to the Far East, the Middle East, Europe and America and changed continent about 20 times!

My goals for 2017:

GOAL 1:  This one is simple as the other goals depend on it: to improve the results of my game.

GOAL 2:  To improve my ranking on the OFM of both Tours.

GOAL 3:  To get into the LPGA.
