February 16th. Bad day, missed the cut.
A day to forget. All I needed was to play level par or +1 at the most, but I started off badly and just could not get it going. Missed makable putts and did not help.
So now it´s time to analyse what went wrong and work on that.
Leaving Adelaide tomorrow for Bonville in northern New South Wales.
February 15th. Not a good day. +2
Simple maths: 5 bogeys - 3 birdies = +2
Too many of the first and too few of the second.
This course is beautiful and in pristine condition. The greens are super fast and undulating, the fairways ample. Surprisingly hilly with many changes in elevation. It is set up long with only one par 5 reachable for me and half a dozen par 4s measuring around the 400 yard mark. The premium is really on putting and making 2 - 3 meter putts to make par or better and not many went in today unfortunately.
I've left myself some work to do tomorrow to make the cut!
Tee off at 13:40 Friday (= 04:10 CET).
