Yalong Bay G.C. - Hainan - China  27th - 29th October

29th October

LAST ROUND: Finished T8th, 10th cut made in a row and counting!

Had a bit of a melt down on the 12th, 13th and 14th and just could not get it back.

A shame as I was in contention, but still very pleased to have finished T8th.

Mission accomplished: Top 10, 10th cut made in a row and I have improved my rankings again: 68th on the LET and 15th on the CLPGA!

Leaving tomorrow onto the next event: no rest for the wicked!

Goodbye Sanya, hello Abu Dhabi!

28th October

Second Day:

Level par, still at -5 and one shot back at T3.

I played exactly the same as yesterday, striking the ball well: I hit 17 greens and, just like yesterday, I hit every fairway, except one where I rolled into a bunker, but today those putts just refused to drop!

I have my Mum on the bag and it seems she is doing a good job..thanks Mum!!

I was striving for a T10, but being only one shot back means I am in contention, so... let´s see what happens tomorrow!!

Tee off tomorrow Saturday is at 11:09, that is 05:09 European time, and I´m playing with Caroline Hedwall from Sweden and Saraporn Chamchoi.

27th  October

 First Day:

Great Round: Finished -5 and co-leader!!

I hit the ball well today and gave myself lots of birdie chances, so although I missed a few makable putts, I had a bogey free round .

I hit every fairway except the 18th where I rolled into a bunker, but was lucky enough to get on the green and make the birdie putt.

Only missed two greens and I was putting from the fringe on those.

Tee off tomorrow Friday is at 07:45, that is 01:45 European time.

26th October

GETTING READY TO RUMBLE!!!

Played the Pro-Am today and had a great day. It was a really nice group.

It´s so warm here! This part of China gets more sunshine than anywhere else and it is very humid. One really has to hydrate well to keep from running out of gas.

This course is a Robert Trent Jones design with lots of water and right next to the sea. It should be interesting if the wind picks up these days!

Tee off on Thursday is at 12:15.

I am playing with Carly Booth from Scotland and So-Young Jang from Korea the first two days.
