May 17th - 20th:  Kingsmill Championship by Geico -  Williamsburg - Virginia - USA

May 20th.  On the road again.

Could not get it going, it is hard to motivate yourself when you are so far back and took some risks in the end.

My stats of the first two rounds. with 13 out of 14 fairways hit and 15 out of 18 greens hit indicate that I am striking the ball really well and just need to improve my putting.

Now it´s 11 hours of driving to Michigan for the Volvik.

May 19th.  Play suspended again.

Not having much luck with the weather. First Dallas and now here.

It is a real shame because so much work has gone into this event. Everyone is really nice and has gone out of their way to make it perfect. Unfortunately no-one has control over the elements.

Round 2 could not be finished on Friday and those still to play will go out early today Sunday, so we still do not know who has made cut and who hasn't and whether we´ll be playing Monday or not. So we cannot book flights, hotels or anything.

This sitting around was getting to me so I bought a new putter yesterday :)

May 18th. -1 total, Tied 65th.

Played really good golf, but the putts refused to drop.

A bit frustrating, because I should be -5 or -6 and right now I just hope I stay in the cut.

May 17th. Solid round -2, Tied 29th.

Shame the rain started just as I started my round.

I left a few putts out there, but I managed to keep it together. 4 birdies and 2 bogeys.

Tee off tomorrow at 10:05 (16:05 CET)

May 16th. Pro Am today.

Last day before the storm.

Playing 9 holes in the Pro Am today, so it'll be morning on the range and Pro Am in the afternoon.

Playing with Amelia Lewis and Mariah Stackhouse from the US the first two days.

Tee off tomorrow at 14:00 (20:00 CET)

May 15th. Full days at Kingsmill.

Had a busy day yesterday. Range practice all morning, then 18 holes on the course and gave a one hour clinic in between.

The course is magnificent. It is situated right on the James River which at this point is so wide that is seems you are looking out to sea.

The first holes are wide, but the course narrows significantly through the round. There aren't any blind tee shots but there are dangers lurking that you don´t see.  The greens are smooth and fast but very hard to read with double breaks often.

May 13th. First practice day in Williamsburg.

Flew in from Miami late last night and stayed at a hotel close to the airport that turned out to have a snag: no elevator/lift to the second floor and we had two heavy suitcases, one every oversize golf travel bag, hand luggage...... no need to go to the gym today.

Kingsmill is right on the James River, which here is so wide, it could easily be an ocean.
