First Day

What an incredible course!!  ¨Tight¨does not describe it, think more in terms of ¨suicidal¨, ¨murderous¨ or simply: "You have to be kidding!!" It is easily the most difficult and intimidating course I have ever played. I am really pleased to have come away with a -2 after leaving four or five putts out there that should have gone in. And yet there are three 7-unders out there!!!! Some of these girls are scoring really well. Check out some of the pictures below!!

1st - 3rd July at Weihai Golf Resort, Shandong, China.

Just six days after arriving back home in Andorra after a gruelling four weeks on the road, it´s back to China to play in the Kumho Tyres Ladies Open at one of the most spectacular gofl courses in the world.

This course sits on a peninsula literally surrounded by the roaring sea,  with long carries over water and greens about to falls off cliffs. The wind and the tight fairways make it one of the most difficult venues on the Chinese Tour.

The field is also a tough one with some of the top players taking part. Shanshan Feng, Weiwei Zhang from China, Chamchoi and Wirairungrueng from Thailand, all ranked from in the top 6, plus a whole army of Koreans will compete for the excellently sponsored prize money.

The weather forecast is for rain and wind, so it promises to be a quest for survival on a course that very easily grants you a triple bogey.

Second Day
Managed to keep it together. Another -2 with a birdie on the last hole: -4 in total and tied T10. A shame that the wind is not stronger, this course with wind would not allow such low scores. There are some incredible scores out there!
Final Day
After hoping for wind, it finally picked up, but my putting let me down. I hit most greens. but a four-putt and two three-putts messed up what would otherwise have been a great round. Finished T16th.
